Do You Know Our Story?
It all started with Guy Wilson and the dust storm of ‘77, a small perfectly timed ad in the Bakersfield Californian, and a big dose of God’s provision and providence! Out of all of this, Wilson’s Roofing was born, and Guy was in business. He worked tirelessly to build a legacy his family could be proud of! After 3 decades of blood, sweat, and tears, Guy was ready to enjoy retirement and grandchildren, and in 2006 sold the business to his two sons, Jason and Justin, who had already been working in the company since they were teenagers. Together they ran Wilson Brothers Roofing for the next 14 years. They enjoyed the camaraderie and daily grind of life in the construction industry, while they built a team of dedicated crew members which included our now general manager, Brian Bowman, and lead foreman, Mario Perez; both of whom have been a vital part of the company for over 3 decades straight! In 2020 Jason decided it was time to exit the business and begin a new adventure with his family in Texas! Justin brought his wife, Kati, in to run the bustling office, and together they have worked to restructure and streamline operations. In 2021 their oldest son, Christian, decided that he would also like to join the WBR team and put his hard work as a full-time college student earning his business degree to good use. He is currently learning the trade and the construction industry by also working full time on a roofing crew! So here we are.. 3 generations into this incredible family business that has become our legacy. We are so grateful for our many loyal customers, our hard working crew and management staff with unbeatable expertise, and a community we are proud to have served for the last 45 years!
