Wilson Brothers Roofing, Inc. is a family owned and operated business located in the heart of Kern County. The original visionary, Guy Wilson, began the business out of the back of his pick up truck with just a few bucks to his name. Guy placed a roofing ad in the Bakersfield Californian in hopes of promoting his business, and just two days later Bakersfield was hit with the famous Bakersfield Dust Storm of 1977, launching his business into full swing!
As Guy’s business was growing, it was just natural for his two sons, Jason and Justin, to grow into the business as well. It wasn’t uncommon to see the boys on the roof with their father learning the trade from tear-offs to re-roofs. After many years of Guy instilling hard work, integrity, and business sense into his sons, it was time to pass the baton. In 2006, the sons eagerly accepted the challenge of carrying on their father’s legacy; Wilson’s Roofing, Inc. then became known as Wilson Brothers Roofing, Inc.
Together the brothers ran Wilson Brothers Roofing for the next 14 years. They enjoyed the camaraderie and daily grind of life in the construction industry, while they built a team of dedicated crew members which includes our now general manager, Brian Bowman, and lead foreman, Mario Perez; both of whom have been a vital part of the company for over 3 decades straight!
In 2020 Jason decided it was time to exit the business and begin a new adventure with his family in Texas. Justin brought his wife, Kati, in to run the bustling office, and together they have worked to restructure and streamline operations. In 2021 their oldest son, Christian, decided that he would also like to join the WBR team and put his hard work as a full-time college student earning his business degree to good use.
We are proud of the three generations that have poured into this incredible family business that has become our legacy. We are so grateful for our many loyal customers, our hard working crew and management staff with unbeatable expertise, and a community we are proud to have served for the last 45 years!
